Jets favored vs. Eagles in preseason finale

With both teams on the heels of preseason Week 3 losses, the New York Jets will host the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night for the final game of exhibition play.

The Jets and Eagles are hoping to draw even on the year, as each franchise holds a 1-2 record entering Thursday’s matchup. Last week, Gang Green took a beating in a 28-13 loss to the Saints. The Eagles were defeated by the Ravens, 26-15.

While New York didn’t look quite as sharp against New Orleans, oddsmakers are seemingly confident that Adam Gase and company will find their rhythm on Thursday.

The new-look Jets are a -4-point favorite at -110 in the spread. Their money line currently sits at -210, with the over/under set at 35 total points, per MyBookie.

Philadelphia, as 4-point underdogs, boast a money line of +175 entering MetLife Stadium.

Thursday night’s game is set to kickoff at 7 p.m., as New York looks to enter Week 1 of the regular season on a high note. With the AFC East rival Bills on the horizon, a quick win at home could do a lot for this unit’s confidence.
