Jetro Willems 'reunion with brother' Allan Saint-Maximin sends Newcastle fans into meltdown

Jetro Willems reunion with Allan Saint-Maximin has seen Newcastle fans head into meltdown over a potential Tyneside return for the Dutch defender.

The 27-year-old became a fan favourite in his short spell on Tyneside whilst on loan from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

Willems' loan spell was cut short due to injury and there has been plenty of speculation linking the former PSV defender with a move back to St. James' Park.

The Netherlands international scored a memorable strike against Liverpool at Anfield and has been held in high regard with the Toon Army ever since.

The former Newcastle left-wing back was a free agent in the summer, but penned a deal with Bundesliga side Greuther Furth until the summer of 2023 - ruling out a potential return to Tyneside.

However, that hasn't stopped fans speculation after Willems posted a photo alongside Saint-Maximin on his Instagram page over the international break.

The Kleeblätter defender captioned the picture: "Reunited with my brother" with the location set to somewhere in Newcastle.

Magpies fans have taken to Instagram, telling Willems to "come home."
