Jetro Willems' one-word answer to Newcastle transfer question gets fans talking

While Newcastle United are busy in the transfer market on deadline day, there is one player fans of the club wish was moving to St James’ Park.

The club have already confirmed that midfielder Joe Willock has arrived on loan for the remainder of the season, while DeAndre Yedlin has completed a permanent switch to Galatasaray.

However, one player who fans would like to see at the club is Jetro Willems, who spent last season on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Dutchman is now back with the Bundesliga club, and with it being deadline fans on Newcastle fan asked Willems on Twitter to see if he would be returning to Newcastle.

Willems replied with a simple one-word answer: “Nope.”
