Vegans will soon be able to tuck into plant-based meals when they set off on their holidays.
Leeds-based Jet2.com has released details of two new vegan meals, which will be introduced from the start of August.
Gluten-free passengers flying from Leeds Bradford Airport and beyond will also be catered for with two further additions to the menu.
The Leeds-based airline decided to introduce the meals after feedback from customers, who said they would like more options for in-flight food.
Passengers flying with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays can tuck into the vegan and gluten free meals from Friday, August 2 onwards - as long as they pre-order when they book their flights.
What's in the meals?
- All-day gluten free breakfast - grilled bacon, scrambled egg, rosti potatoes, sautéed mushrooms in a tomato sauce
- Gluten free roast chicken dinner - roast chicken breast with grilled potatoes, vegetables and a gluten free gravy
- All-day vegan breakfast - grilled vegan sausage, rosti potatoes, sautéed mushrooms in a tomato sauce

Jet2.com recently became the first airline to sell Nando's on flights across Europe, with the introduction of snacks inspired by the chicken restaurant.
