Jet2 restarts flights from Glasgow to Cyprus for the first time since March

Jet2 has announced that it will resume its flights and holidays to Cyprus from Glasgow from next week, meaning holidaymakers can escape to the Cypriot sunshine for the first time since March.

The airline and package holiday specialist will recommence its flights and holidays programme to Larnaca on Monday (August 17), with almost 40,000 seats on sale this summer departing from eight UK bases including Glasgow Airport.

The company also resumes flights and holidays to Paphos next Tuesday (August 18), with 45,000 seats on sale to Paphos.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “We are delighted to be recommencing our flights and holidays programme to Cyprus from 17th August and looking at the demand it’s very clear just how much our customers are looking forward to their well-deserved holidays in the Cypriot sunshine.

"With a great choice of flights and holidays to Cyprus from eight UK bases, not to mention fantastic deals and free child places available, there’s plenty of choice and value for those looking to get away for a much-needed break in the sunshine this summer."

Those flying with the airline are currently required to provide a negative Covid-19 test upon arrival, obtained within 72 hours of travel.
