Jet2 restarting flights and announce new holiday rules all passengers must follow from next week

Scotland has confirmed there will be no official quarantine rules stopping people from flying in and out of around 44 countries in the world.

There was already an increase in flights resuming at Edinburgh Airport with almost 60 flights in total coming in this weekend alone.

From 10 July, Scots will be able to go abroad to the likes of France and Australia - however, Spain will not be allowed.

Jet2 say they will resume flights to popular holiday destinations such as Spain and France where Brits can currently travel without any quarantine on July 15.

They will, however, introduce a number of rules which passengers must follow:

Jet2 Travel Rules

- The travel company say passengers must check-in to their flight over their travel app and have their boarding pass ready before they show up at the gate to minimise contact.

- All customers must scan their own boarding passes and show their passport to the flight attendants without them touching it.

- Masks are mandatory and customers should use them in the airport and onboard the flight

- Everyone over the age of six must have a face covering and scarves, snoods and balaclavas will be refused.
