Airline and tour operator Jet2 is extending its summer flights schedule to Greece to cope with demand amid hopes that the Covid travel ban will be lifted later this year.
It is adding almost 80 new flights to Zante, Crete (Heraklion), Rhodes and Kefalonia through October and November, providing customers with more choice. Extra accommodation options have also been added.
The new flights are as follows:
- Zante – 34 new flights introduced, with extra flying from Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted. As well as extending the season until the end of October for the first time,
- Rhodes – 20 new flights introduced, with extra flying Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted. Extending the summer season in Rhodes to mid-November.
- Crete (Heraklion) – almost 20 new flights introduced, with extra flying from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted. Extending the summer season in Heraklion to November 9.
- Kefalonia - extra flying from Glasgow, Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford and Manchester means Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. Extending the summer season in Kefalonia to mid-October.
