Jet2 has announced it will launch a new route from Manchester Airport that's perfect for city breaks.

Flights between Manchester and Bergen will begin in April 2024, operating on Thursdays and Mondays. Tickets for flights to the Norwegian city, where people can see the beauty of the world-renowned Fjords, went on sale today (December 13).

Prices start from £72 for a one-way trip, with mid-week and long-weekend breaks available.

Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Norway’s famous Fjords need no introduction, and we are incredibly excited to be launching flights and packages to this jaw-dropping destination.

“As well as giving customers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the beauty of the fjords, the city of Bergen is a stunning and vibrant city with something around every corner too.”

Customers booking a Bergen city break with Jet2 all-day Norwegian fjords tour included. This includes a ride on board the famous Flåm Railway, followed by a boat trip along the Aurlandsfjord and UNESCO-stamped Nærøyfjord.
