Jet2 has issued up update to customers with holidays booked for 2021, as government travel restrictions continue.
The holiday giant gave the update after it was revealed that lockdown is unlikely to be lifted before March 8 in England.
The government has also tightened restrictions for people looking to leave and enter the country in a bid to stop coronavirus variants entering and spreading through the UK, reports Herts Live.
In response to this, all holidays up to and including March 25, 2021, have been cancelled whilst all holidays to Iceland are cancelled up to and including April 26, 2021.
Those affected will receive a full refund of their holiday soon.
Due to the ever changing restrictions and guidelines, Jet2 has also issued an update for those who have a booking after March 26.
A spokesperson said that an update regarding whether these holidays will go ahead will be provided closer to the time so customers are urged to keep an eye on Jet2's website.
They continued: "Due to the ongoing uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and government travel restrictions, we’ve taken the decision to extend the suspension of all holidays up to and including 25 March 2021.
"Please note, our holidays to Iceland are suspended up to and including 26 April 2021.
