It's the most wonderful time of the year and with John Lewis releasing their annual Christmas ad, it seems only right to start thinking about where you can spend those festive days.

For those wanting to take off to Budapest, it could cost as little as £34, with the Hungarian capital offering the world-famous Gellert Baths, situated right in the centre of the city and has some beautiful Christmas markets to boot.
Think grand cafes and swanky boulevards as well as being able to find quirky underground ruin pubs.
Catching a flight to Krakow from Leeds Bradford could cost just £40 where you'll be able to visit the stunning city square, catch a horse carriage ride and immerse yourself in the festivities.

There's plenty of history and culture too - explore Krakow's well-preserved Jewish quarter, grab some gifts in Cloth Hall or take a trip up to Wawel Castle.
But the brand new additions offer just as much, Berlin has flights from £40 per person and the German capital boasts some impressive Christmas markets, with more than 80 stals and attractions spread across the city.
Alternatively you could head to Cologne from November 26 till December 6 with twice-weekly operating on a Monday and Friday.
Jet2 have just announced a huge summer expansion too, with more than 270 weekly flights heading to Greece, with destinations including Catch a flight to Krakow from Leeds Bradford for just £40.
Athens, Crete (Heraklion and Chania), Corfu, Kefalonia, Lesvos, Mykonos, Skiathos, Santorini, Kos, Kalamata, Preveza, Rhodes, Halkidiki and even Zante.
