Jet2 flights to top holiday destinations postponed again

Jet2.com has announced new dates for when flights to its most popular holiday destinations will resume.

The airline and holiday company, based at Leeds Bradford Airport, was due to resume flights to the Canaries at the end of October and the beginning of November.

Flights to Antalya (Turkey) and Rome were set to resume on November 15 and 26 respectively.

But these dates have been pushed back following the announcement of stricter national coronavirus lockdown rules which will be in force until at least December 2.

Therefore flights to the Canary Islands – Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria – and Antalya will now resume on December 2, Jet2.com said.

Flights to Venice, Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga, Palma (Mallorca) and Faro (Portugal) are still expected to resume on February 11, while flights to Malta are still expected to resume on February 14.

Jet2.com said: "In line with the latest government advice, we have made a number of changes to our flights and holiday programmes.

"We would like to advise customers of our planned restart dates."
