With the government set to review its traffic light system for travel again soon, holidaymakers could be set to have some good news.
As it stands only Malta, which does fly from Leeds Bradford Airport with Jet2, is a definite to move to the green list.
However quarantine-free trips to the Balearic Islands have also been rumoured to be possible.

With the travel lists due to be updated fully tomorrow (Thursday, June 24), reports indicate that fully jabbed Brits may also not have to quarantine when they return home from amber destinations.

Now, as the Balearic islands, which include Ibiza and Menorca, could be opened up too, the travel industry has described the move as a "game changer".
Ibiza, Menorca and Mallorca are usually visited by over five million Brits annually, with Jet2 flying to both party island Ibiza and well as Menorca from Leeds Bradford Airport.
If a country is moved to the green list, travellers won't need to quarantine for 10 days and any change in a destination's status would permit holidaymakers to travel from June 29.

Malta however, is one of the countries leading the way in Europe for vaccinations, with over half of the population fully jabbed.
Despite this good news, popular tourist hotspot the Greek islands are set to remain closed.
