Airline Jet2 has announced it is adding extra flights from Glasgow Airport to the likes of Spain and Turkey, with destinations including the Canary and Balearic Islands and the Costa Dorada.
An extra 20,000 plus departing seats between October and March from Glasgow - including during the October holidays - are already on sale.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays confirmed the extra capacity from Glasgow Airport includes:
- Over 10,000 additional seats on sale departing to the Canary Islands. This includes additional flying to Tenerife from early October right though to late March, as well as additional flights to Lanzarote from November to the end of March.
- Additional weekly flights to Turkey, meaning extra capacity to both Antalya and Dalaman.
- Extra flights to the Balearic Islands in October, with additional flying to Ibiza, Majorca (Palma) and Menorca.
Additional weekly flights in October departing to Reus (Costa Dorada).
