Popular airline Jet2.com and Jet2 Holidays have announced that they will be adding more flights to popular holiday hotspots from Edinburgh Airport as the holiday provider sees a surge in bookings.
As many countries welcome British visitors after a year of fleets being grounded due to the coronavirus pandemic, Jet2 have increased their flights to the popular Canary Islands and Turkey.
This comes after the Scottish government confirmed that the traffic light system changed to just two lists, meaning that all countries that are not on the red list will require travellers returning to follow the rules that were for the amber list.
Those who are fully vaccinated no longer need to self isolate or take a pre-departure test. But they do need to take a Day two PCR test when they return.
Extra flight services has now been added from Edinburgh Airport to Lanzarote on Monday from January 10 for those seeking winter sun.
There will also be a Tuesday services added with extra flights added to Dalaman on November 2.
