A video on social media has emerged showing jet ski drivers "causing havoc" near Anglesey in north Wales over the weekend. The footage, which was shown on Twitter, shows a group of five jet skiers ploughing through seabird colonies in a wildlife reserve near Ynys Seiriol (Puffin Island) on the eastern tip of the island.
Ros Green, who filmed the footage, said that at least one bird had died in the sea following the incident. Many have responded to the video on social media, with some describing it as "upsetting" while others have said more needs to be done to protect the area.

In response, North Wales Police have called people to "show respect" to the coastline, while the governing body of protected sites, RSPB Cymru, have encouraged people to report any dangerous behaviour to a wildlife crime officer.
A spokesperson for the charity tweeted: "Using jet skis irresponsibly can lead to grave consequences for our beautiful marine wildlife. It must stop. It's vital we act responsibly around marine wildlife. If you spot dangerous behaviour, please report to your wildlife crime officer on 101".
This comes after jet ski users were warned that they could be committing a criminal office if they were caught harassing wildlife. Various reports had been made during the summer in areas such as Puffin Island and South Stack near Holyhead, which is a home to seabirds including auks such as guillemots, razorbills and puffins.
According to marine-education.co.uk website, a person does not need a licence to ride a jet ski unless they are under 16 when they may need a proficiency certificate.
