Jesy Nelson unfollowed on Instagram by Little Mix trio after debut solo single release

The Little Mix girls seem to have distanced themselves further from former bandmate Jesy Nelson after unfollowing her on Instagram.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall all appeared to have clicked the unfollow button on the social media platform just a day after Jesy, 30, released her first solo single.

The tune, which also features P Diddy and Nicki Minaj, seems to have rubbed the remaining trio up the wrong way with none of them bothering to mention it or wish their former pal good luck.

Instead, it looks like they greeted the release with an unfollow - even Perrie's dog's page no longer follows the ex bandmate.

Although there seems to have been a cleaning spree on the personal accounts, the official Little Mix account still follows the star.

The incident comes after Jesy herself had a clear out of her page and now only follows P Diddy and Nicki Minaj.

As Jesy did the media rounds, including sharing dozens of Stories to her Instagram account to try to build interest for her new tune, her former bandmates opted to stay focused on their own endeavours.

Sharing a post to their 14.9 Instagram followers on Stories, the Brit Award -winning band urged fans to get their hands on a limited edition record.

The news of the unfollows further shows how far the girls have divided following Jesy's comments that she's not met Perrie or Leigh-Anne's newborn children.

The duo both gave birth last month, with Perrie the first to announce her new arrival.

Jesy said she had sent text messages to Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock following the births of their children, but didn't plan on seeing them any time soon as the trio are no longer in contact.

She left Little Mix in December last year after almost 10 years together.

She cited her mental health as the reason she left the band and has now released her debut solo single.

The singer said at times she felt "fat and awful" in the band and confessed she has felt liberated since leaving the band behind.

She described the new hit as something you will either love or hate and the video was a direct copy of Diddy's 2001 video for the song that it was mixed with.

In the latest video, Jesy spoofed the moment Diddy is confronted by Ben Stiller in the original.

Diddy then mocks Jesy's names in a similar fashion to Ben did in 2001, poking fun at her controversial departure from Little Mix.
