Jesy Nelson 'to film comeback video with epic two day shoot' ahead of music return

Jesy Nelson is reportedly getting ready to film the music video to her comeback single, after confirming she will be releasing brand new music in the New Year.

The former Little Mix member, 31, split from her record label Polydor last summer over creative differences.

After taking some time out, Jesy returned to social media to tell fans " there will be music soon," but admitted she "wanted to make sure it was perfect" before releasing anything.

Jesy's debut single, which was released in October last year, was surrounded by controversy over alleged black-fishing claims, which the musician has continued to vehemently deny.

Now she's back and is said to be gearing up to spend two days filming for her epic new video.

A source said: "Jesy knows the single has to be a hit and is giving her all in rehearsals."

She is thought to have been practising ever since she returned from her loved-up trip to Jamaica with rapper Zion Foster.

"She has full choreography in the video so as soon as she got back from her holiday she has been going all out in the dance studio.

"Filming is all locked in and will take place over two days in a few days time," the insider told The Sun.

The Mirror has approached Jesy's representatives for comment.

Following the drama from her debut single, Jesy is said to be excited about her new music with her pals hoping it will resonate with more fans.

Another source said: "'Jesy threw a party a few weeks ago and invited some of her friends to hear some of the new music she has been writing and recording.

"She was overwhelmed by their reaction as they all loved it."

"The music is more reflective of where Jesy is today and she thinks it will resonate more with Little Mix fans," they added.

Jesy rose to fame after winning the X Factor in 2011 with girl band Little Mix, before quitting the group in 2020. Since deciding to go solo, she has yet to release a full-length album.

However she has now promised fans that a new album is on the way, and set to be released in early 2023.
