Jesy Nelson shows off her impressive abs in 90s-inspired trouser suit

Jesy Nelson showed off her impressive abs as she geared up for the release of her hotly-anticipated debut single Boyz.

The track, which is a collaboration with Nicki Minaj, will be released on 8 October, and the 30-year-old singer headed to Kiss FM studios in London to give fans a tease of her new single.

Jesy made a bold statement in the eye-catching Moschino suit, which she teamed with a black crop top, and black suede boots.

The former Little Mix singer finished off the vintage-inspired look with a black baker boy hat, complete with a large safety pin brooch on the front.

She rocked the designer patchwork suit as she appeared on Kiss Fm on Thursday, and promised listeners she would be back on the airwaves on Friday morning to play her debut solo single.

Jesy also gave fans a sneak peek of the video from her solo effort, which showed her playing golf while rocking a mini skirt and sky high heels, flaunting her gorgeous figure as she larked around on camera.

While promoting her debut single, Jesy has also spoken about her departure from Little Mix, and recently said she has had no contact with her bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall.

Since leaving the girl group in December last year, Jesy has discussed her struggles with her mental health, and candidly confessed she had taken an overdose before filming a music video, prompting her concerned bandmates to suggest she quit.

During an interview with Glamour magazine, Jesy said since she departed the band, she’s heard nothing from her former BFFs, which she said was “weird”.

“I haven’t spoken to the girls. It is weird because for so many years we were as close as sisters, together every hour of the day for weeks, sharing beds, laughing, crying just 24/7 the four of us together and then… Nothing,” she sadly shared.

Jesy also revealed it was a relief to be free of the relentless trolling and abuse she faced while a member of Little Mix, and admitted she felt much better to be her own artist, rather than being compared to the other girls.

“I couldn't deal with that anymore…” she told Fearne Cotton during an interview for her Happy Place podcast.

She said people had “misconstrued” what she meant when she announced she was leaving Little Mix, because she always envisioned having her own solo career.

“I said, ‘I'm just going to start a new chapter of my life, I just want to make myself happy. I don't know what that's going to be, but I need to look after myself now, make myself feel better again,’” Jesy stated.
