Jesy Nelson has shared some “really sad” news as she gave an update on her twin daughters’ health following their diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1.
In January, the singer shared the devastating news that her daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, have been diagnosed with the rare genetic condition that may prevent them from ever walking.
Providing an update on the girls on Thursday (19 March), the 34-year-old told fans that the twins have now been fitted with leg splints to support their joints.
Showing the colourful patterned splints, Nelson remarked that she had “never seen anything cuter”, though said that she was feeling “really sad”. “It’s just another reminder,” she sighed.
