Jesy Nelson has shared that her daughters have hit a new milestone months on from being diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1.
In January, the singer announced that her daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster, had been diagnosed with the rare genetic condition that may prevent them from ever walking.
Posting on Instagram on Wednesday (6 May), the singer shared footage of the twins eating in their specialised feeding chairs for the first time.
The twins can be seen strapped in their custom chairs as they enjoyed some pureed food.
“Excuse me, you’re supposed to eat it, not spit it out,” laughed Nelson as she fed the girls.
