Jesy Nelson's fans convinced she's dropped cryptic clue about solo music in snap

Jesy Nelson sent fans wild with a huge hint about solo music in her latest Instagram post.

There's been huge talk about the pop star planning to brave the music scene as a solo artist following her departure from band Little Mix.

Claims surfaced she's in high-demand as The X Factor judge for when Simon Cowell reboots the show in 2022.

Adding fuel to the fire, it emerged the singer had signed a deal with the global management firm YMU amid weeks of speculation about her musical future.

Jesy has made no secret of returning to the recording studio as she has been spotted at the venue as well as sharing Instagram stories from behind the scenes.

Fans were convinced her latest Instagram offered up mysterious clues about her solo music.

Her latest photograph captures the singer in her home environment sporting a bra and tracksuit bottoms.

It seems her followers were sure her caption "90s baby" was a hint about her new musical direction.

Among the sea of comments, one wrote: "Is the "90s" a hint????"

Another added: "Jesy i’m so excited for you. i’m so happy for you. i’m so grateful youre still able to do what you love most. i cant wait. i’m so proud of you love you so much."

Jesy rocketed to fame as part of Little Mix on The X Factor.

The songstress was part of the girl band for nine years after their flying success.

However, Jesy quit Little Mix late last year after struggling with her mental health in the limelight.

More recently she had opened up about the dark side of fame in her award-winning documentary Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out.

In an impassioned post, the singer admitted being in a band had taken "a toll on my mental health" as she announced she was leaving.

"I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard," she wrote at the time.

"I need to spend some time with the people I love, doing things that make me happy."

Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards threw their support behind their former bandmate over her decision to quit.

However, the group decided to continue as a three-piece.

The remaining Little Mix band members said: "We know that Jesy leaving the group is going to be really upsetting news for our fans.

"We love her very much and agree that it is so important that she does what is right for her mental health and well-being."
