Jesy Nelson has reportedly parted ways with Little Mix ’s record label.
The former X Factor star, 29, who quit the band after nine years last year, is said to have split with music label RCA amid rumours she’s about to embark on a solo career.
In recent weeks, the Shout Out To My Ex hitmaker has been teasing fans by sharing a number of photos and videos from a recording studio – leading many to believe she left Little Mix in a bid to go solo.
Lifting the lid on Jesy’s reported decision to cut all ties with the record label which is owned by Sony, an insider revealed that she has her sights set on a different avenue.
A source told The Daily Star : “It's no secret Jesy has been hitting the studio recently but she's no longer with RCA.
“It looks almost certain that she's parted ways with Sony as a whole as well.

"She's looked for a whole new team and since splitting with Little Mix, Jesy has been pitched around for a new PR to head up her upcoming projects.”
The insider went on: "All signs point to a clean break and totally new direction."
Jesy has been dropping hints that she’s recording brand new music as part of her solo venture by sharing clips from inside the recording studio.

Earlier this month, the singer sent fans into meltdown when she posed alongside producer Patrick Jordan Patrikios and fellow songwriter Sunny as the trio appeared to work on some new songs in the studio.
It comes just five months after Jesy quit Little Mix after revealing it was time for her to step away from the spotlight.
It looks as though the possibilities are endless for Jesy as rumours swirl that she’s being lined up to help revive X Factor when it returns in 2022.

Jesy is said to be at the top of Simon Cowell's list of potential new judges for the show’s epic comeback.
After a break from screens since 2018 - but with a celebrity spin-off in 2019 - there are plans for the show to make a return to ITV in 2022.
A source told The Sun : "It’s a no brainer for Simon to have someone as successful as Jesy, who the show made, back on the panel.

"Her name has been bandied around by Simon and his team as someone who could breathe a bit of new life into the show when it’s back next year."
Jesy won the show in 2011 as part of girlband Little Mix, making history as the first-ever group to claim victory.
The Mirror has contacted Jesy’s representatives for further comment.
