Jesy Nelson jokes she'd 'turn lesbian' for Emily Atack as they party on wild night out

Comedian Emily Atack looked in fine form with former ex-Little Mix star Jesy Nelson as they partied together last night.

Jesy, who released her much-longed for new single Boyz last week, looked like she was still in celebration mode as she posed with her famous friend.

Sharing a video of the pair, which she captioned: "Sundays with angels" Emily can be seen dancing with her arm around Jesy, who she calls "my little Barbie."

Jesy, sporting a black peaked cap and long brown hair extensions quips: "I would turn lesbian for this lady - I'm not even joking."

The pair have been friends for years with Emily interviewing the singer ahead of her award-winning documentary Odd One Out.

Taking to Twitter in 2019 Emily posted: "I interviewed the talented (and breathtakingly gorgeous) Jesy Nelson ahead of her documentary Odd One Out. The doc is a hard watch but so important for all to see."

Since making the decision to quit Little Mix last year citing mental health reasons, Jesy's been teasing the release of her debut single Boyz.

The eagerly-awaited track, which features Nicki Minaj and P. Diddy was finally released last week and fans can't get enough.

The single has reached number 1 in more than 30 countries.

While the banger might be top of the pops, Jesy has been forced to confront accusations of "blackfishing", which is a term used to describe people using elements of black culture and styling or pretending to be black or mixed race.

The singer said that she is "aware she is a white British woman" after fans called her out for sporting a very deep tan and braided hair in the song's video.

One took to Twitter fuming: "Not only is Boyz by Jesy Nelson a bad song but the music video does nothing to quell the accusations of blackfishing she’s faced her entire career."

However, the 30-year-old singer told Vulture in an interview: "I'm very aware that I'm a white British woman; I've never said that I wasn't.

"But I mean, like, I love Black culture. I love Black music. That's all I know; it's what I grew up on."

Jesy's friend Emily meanwhile is dealing with her own social media drama after she opened up about some of the horrific abuse she has suffered online while being bombarded with unwanted sexually explicit content by some male fans.

The 31-year-old star – who appeared on hit comedy series The Inbetweeners and now fronts her own comedy sketch show – says one man even threatened to kill and rape her in her own home.

In an interview with The Sunday Times Emily shared the disturbing details of some of the messages she is sent by strangers – which can include “dozens” a day.
