Jesy Nelson flashes her abs in sizzling snap after Chris Hughes spills on split

Jesy Nelson put the drama surrounding her past break ups behind her as she commanded attention in a series of gorgeous snaps.

After her ex-boyfriend, Love Island star Chris Hughes, spoke out in an interview about their break up, Jesy made sure all eyes were on her by dropping some seriously stunning pictures on Instagram.

Baring her abs in a white crop top as she sat on the front porch of her home, she captioned her post: “Pull up ur pants just like em”, a reference to Ciara’s song Like A Boy, where the American R&B star is seen sporting a similar outfit to Jesy’s in her music video.

Jesy and Chris called it quits in early 2020 after 18 months together.

The former couple began dating in November 2018, two months after Jesy had split from then-boyfriend, Harry James, AKA Fugative, an Essex-born musician.

Chris, 28, who confessed to struggling with the break-up, recently told The Sun: “We’re very good friends and we enjoyed all that time together.

“I look back and I don’t look at anything with regret.

“We still support each other and it was just a period in life where you move on.

“But it’s nice to look back on the good memories of my relationship with Jesy and there were plenty of good times.

“There’s no reason to not like each other.”

Chris even featured in Jesy's emotional BBC documentary Odd One Out, in which she opened up about her suicide attempt and the heartbreaking effect trolls had on her mental health.

Jesy exposed some of the most difficult experiences in her life, as she was shown struggling with her body image and starving herself before TV performances.

She was also facing mental health problems as the documentary touched on her attempted suicide in 2013.

The singer has since prioritised her mental and physical health and has kept in touch with her fans through the use of her social media.

Despite having left her successful X Factor girlband in December to focus on her wellbeing, Jesy has maintained her 7.7 million Instagram followers and kept them entertained.
