Jesy Nelson and Chris Hughes confirm their romance as they go Instagram official after romantic getaway

Jesy Nelson and Chris Hughes appeared to confirm they are very much back together with a series of romantic selfies as they jetted home from a romantic getaway.

The pair, who were first rumoured to be dating back in January, made things Instagram official as they cosied up on their Instagram stories.

Love Island star Hughes had his arm draped around a beaming Nelson as they waited in the departure lounge in Dublin.

The Little Mix singer then shared short clips from them laughing and joking on the plane, with Hughes kissing her on the cheek affectionately.

After the flight landed, the pair shared a passionate kiss at City Airport as they parted after their minibreak in the Irish capital.

Nelson, 27, and Hughes, 26, were first linked at the start of the year after being spotted on a date at a Harry Potter themed bar before later being pictured kissing in a kebab shop.

But earlier this month, sources claimed that Nelson had decided to halt their budding romance to focus on her career.

“Jesy has explained that she needs to protect herself and her career, and taking their romance any further was proving a massive risk,” the insider told The Sun.

“For now she’s going to enjoy being single until the right man comes along.”

And the singer’s love life hit the headlines again just last week when it was claimed she was hanging out with James Arthur backstage at the BRITs .

Sources claimed that the pair grabbed a “private booth” and were “inseparable” but Arthur soon shut down rumours that they were “kissing” and called the whole story a “sad state of affairs” .

He tweeted: “Firstly we were not kissing we were talking closely because it was loud as f*** in a club, have you ever tried having a conversation when theres [sic] loud music, you gotta be tactile [sic].

“Sad state of a affairs [sic] when a guy and a girl can’t sit and chat without being romantically involved.”

Hughes, meanwhile, has been single since splitting from Love Island co-star Olivia Attwood last year, shortly after their reality show aired.
