Jesy Nelson accidentally leaks first solo single on Instagram

It looks like Jesy Nelson may have accidentally leaked her first solo single on Instagram - six months after her shock exit from Little Mix.

Fans of the singer couldn't believe their luck when the star uploaded a short clip of her new track only to delete it seconds later.

Jesy, 29, uploaded the video again, making sure the new version had no sound.

In the video the solo star can be seen in the recording studio - filming the computer as her track plays in the background.

A lightening-quick clip of the song can just about be heard with Jesy appearing to be singing: "Sorry that you're back so soon…."

The singer's fans have been waiting patiently for the star's upcoming solo career, with one taking to Twitter saying: "Ugh I can’t wait for Jesy Nelson’s solo music, girl needs to drop something for me to stream asap."

Another retweeted the mysterious clip, adding: "I’m so hyped for Jesy Nelson solo music."

Jesy signed a record deal with Polydor just five months after leaving Little Mix.

The star rocketed to fame alongside Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall as well as pregnant bandmates Perrie Edwards and Leigh Anne Pinnock when they won The X Factor.

However last year, the singer quit the girl group as she said the band had taken a toll on her mental health.

After lots of signature glimpses into recording studios, Jesy announced she was making her comeback as a solo artist just five months later.

She told her 7.9million followers: "So excited to announce that I’ve signed my first ever solo record deal with @polydorrecords @universalmusicgroup.

"This is such a pinch me moment. I cannot wait for you guys to hear what I’ve been working on."

Despite leaving Little Mix, who shot to fame on the X Factor, Jesy proved there was no bad blood between her and her former bandmates as she congratulated them on their BRIT Awards win last month.

Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock made history as they became the first ever female group to win the British Group gong at the annual awards.

And after they thanked her during their acceptance speech, Jesy, who swerved the ceremony at London's O2 Arena, took to social media to show them some love.

The star shared a snap of her former bandmates clutching their gong and beaming huge smiles, adding love hearts and clapping hands emojis.

On accepting their award the girls said: "We have all gone through so much. We've had so much fun, we've made so many beautiful memories. We want to start by thanking our incredible fans, of course Jesy, and our amazing team."
