Manchester City welcomed Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling back from injury in the Premier League win over Arsenal, but suffered another injury blow with two more players picking up problems.
As well as Aguero and Sterling, Joao Cancelo also made his first club appearance of the season, while Bernardo Silva was back after struggling for fitness before the international break.
Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus were missing, as expected, for City, while Aleks Zinchenko remains out. And just as the injury list was clearing up, City lost Aymeric Laporte and Benjamin Mendy against Arsenal.
With games coming thick and fast for City, continuing with the Champions League opener against Porto this week, Pep Guardiola will be hoping for his unavailable players to recover as quickly as possible - but without rushing back and risking a longer lay-off.
This is the latest injury status among City's squad, with expected return dates:
Kevin De Bruyne
Injured on international break, Pep Guardiola confirmed that De Bruyne would miss the 'next games' in his pre-match press conference for the Arsenal game.
Belgium manager Roberto Martinez described De Bruyne's injury as a fitness issue, and warned against rushing him back and aggravating his body further.
Expected return date: Unknown
Gabriel Jesus
Jesus picked up a knock against Wolves, and sat out the win over Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup, before Guardiola confirmed he would face a longer period on the sidelines. That left City without a senior striker against Bournemouth, Leicester, Burnley and Leeds.
After the Arsenal win, Guardiola said: "Gabriel has a quad injury in front of his leg and I think we will have to be calm and cautious. He is still not on the field training."
Guardiola had mentioned 'months' as a timeframe for Jesus' absence, but it is understood City are hopeful they can manage the injury carefully and avoid a setback that would keep him out for that long.
Possible return date: November/December
Aymeric Laporte
Laporte's absence against Arsenal was a blow, with Guardiola later confirming he had picked up a muscle injury during the international break.
Guardiola said on Laporte: "I don't know how much but maybe in one week or 10 days he could be ready."
Expected return date: October 27
Benjamin Mendy
Like Laporte, Mendy also has a muscle injury, but is expected to be out for longer than his fellow Frenchman.
Guardiola put Mendy's recovery tie at three to four weeks, in his latest injury setback at City. That timeframe is likely to keep Mendy out until after the November international break.
Expected return date: November 21
Aleks Zinchenko
Utility man Zinchenko recovered from a muscle injury to make the bench against Leicester, after missing the first two games of the season, but then picked up another injury to keep him out of the Burnley, Leeds and Arsenal games.
“Yesterday or two days ago he was injured again,” Guardiola said after the Burnley win. “He was recovered, but he got injured again and is out for two or three weeks.”
Expected return date: October 21
