Jessie J has been hit with fresh health problems that have forced her to put her singing career on pause – just days after she released her comeback single.
The 33-year-old singer explained previously that she is suffering from Meniere's disease – but now she is enduring a mystery illness that is causing her painful acid reflux.
The star explained to her fans that she was being forced to stop singing in order to protect her vocal chords, and will be undergoing various tests and procedures to figure out what is wrong with her.
Her disappointing news comes just days after she released her belter of a new song, I Want Love, which sees a return of her trademark powerhouse vocals.

Taking to Instagram Stories to update fans, Jessie said: “The issue is something in my body that is causing major acid reflux.
“It puts my vocal cords at risk if I sing with it. It hurts and burns. I am doing everything that I can.”
She went on to explain the medical tests she will be put through in the coming days.

“They put a tube down your nose and into your stomach and you have to have the probe in there for 24 hours. Then I am having an endoscopy on Tuesday where they knock me out and go down there with a camera.
“I shouldn’t have Googled it. But at least I’ll have some answers to why I turned 33 and my body said, ‘Girl, we’re going to f**k you up.’”
Jessie’s update comes a week after she revealed she is battling Meniere's disease – an ear condition that causes dizziness and attacks of vertigo.
In a tearful video released earlier this month, the Price Tag singer explained to followers that doctors asked her to sing something quietly as they assessed her condition.
She said: "The first song I sang was I want love. Just hearing myself sing it and feel so vulnerable whilst singing bought me to tears.
"I have never ever to this day (since recording it) been able to to sing it because of the pain I am experiencing. Man it’s been hard not singing. It’s literally my life line and my happiness. Being quiet is not something I’m good at. Or makes me feel like myself. Lord knows I’m loud af."

While she initially discussed her condition in December last year, telling followers: "I woke up and felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear, couldn't walk in a straight line.
"Basically I got told I had Meniere's syndrome. I know that a lot of people suffer from it and I've actually had a lot of people reach out to me and give me great advice, so I've just been laying low in silence.
"Now's the first time I've been able to sing and bear it. I just miss singing so much and being around anyone."
