Jessica Hynes will star in Caryl Churchill's Far Away at the Donmar Warehouse

Jessica Hynes will star in the Donmar Warehouse’s upcoming production of Caryl Churchill’s Far Away.

The BAFTA-winning actress will be joined by Aisling Loftus and Simon Manyonda in Lyndsey Turner’s new production, which opens in February.

Turner also directed the National Theatre’s recent production of Churchill’s Top Girls.

Far Away returns 20 years after its premiere and takes place in a world where everything in existence is at war with each other.

Hynes has previously appeared on stage in Alan Ayckbourn’s The Norman Conquests at the Old Vic, for which she reprised her role Broadway and was nominated for a Tony Award. She also received an Olivier nomination for her part in Jez Butterworth’s The Night Heron at the Royal Court.

Aisling Loftus recently appeared in Aristocrats at the Donmar, also directed by Turner, while Simon Manyonda was in the theatre’s production of The Way of the World and is currently on screens in BBC’s His Dark Materials.

Far Away runs from February 6-March 28 2020, donmarwarehouse.com
