Celtic-linked Jesse Marsch has talked up the possibility of taking over at RB Leipzig for next season.
The American is seen as a rising star in the coaching game and was touted as a potential replacement for Neil Lennon.
Marsch, currently in charge of RB Salzburg, admitted it would be an honour to manage Celtic but Eddie Howe has emerged as the top candidate for the job.
The 47-year-old has come up through the Red Bull network of clubs, taking charge of NY Red Bulls before working as assistant at RB Leipzig.
There could be a vacancy at the Bundesliga side in the summer, with Bayern Munich likely to move for Julian Nagelsmann.

Marsch would be a logical replacement to move over from RB Salzburg as he's already familiar with the organisation at Leipzig.
And he has thrown his hat into the ring for the job if Nagelsmann does move on.
Marsch told Sky Germany: "Of course I understand the club very well.
"If you ask me what would fit best, RB Leipzig is of course a top idea,
"But Julian Nagelsmann is doing a great job and there is currently no reason for Leipzig to look for a new coach. But if I can have the opportunity as a coach in Leipzig, then that's a great idea for me."
