Welcome to the United On My Mind daily round-up, where we take a look at some of the best Manchester United stories you might have missed.
Jesse Lingard is told that he's not doing himself any favours by staying at Old Trafford after he had a good run on loan with West Ham last season.
Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with various clubs in the Premier League, but his agents don't think Arsenal is the club for him and could be persuaded to look elsewhere... like United, maybe?
Meanwhile, Wolverhampton Wanderer's Ruben Neves has been told that he would be a great addition to the United squad after his record for the Midlands club impresses.
Vlahovic could snub Arsenal for other Premier League options
Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic has now long been linked with a move to the Premier League and Arsenal. But, the player and his representatives have reportedly snubbed the Gunners and 'don't want to speak to the club'.
This could be the perfect opportunity for United to sneak in front of the queue for the Serbian international. He's already proved his goalscoring abilities, matching Cristiano Ronaldo's record of the most goals in a calendar year - with 33 goals in 2021.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has said," 'It depends on which project, how much money he is being given.
"Arsenal, for example, his agents do not want to speak to them. They think Arsenal is not enough for him and his career.
"'They think that Tottenham or Man City or Man United are more fit for him."
Opinion: Vlahovic could be a steal for Manchester United. With an insane goal tally this calendar year, and the incentive to not deal with Mino Raiola regarding Erling Haaland, Vlahovic should be a big target for United.
Neves told he would 'flourish' at United
When speaking to the Football Insider, Noel Whelan has said Wolverhampton Wanderers' Ruben Neves can be a player who will 'flourish' at United.
The former England international told the site, "He's a player who has been a real standout for Wolves.
"He's got creativity, scores goals, set-piece taker, works hard off the ball, exciting on the ball – I think he would flourish at Man United.
"In the time he's been in England and the Premier League, he's really earned that big move. He's one of three or four who have been so pivotal to Wolves' success since they got promoted.

"He commands that respect, and you can definitely see why he's a wanted man by clubs like Man United."
Opinion: It could be that Neves is looking to step up and move to a club that will provide the opportunity to play in the biggest competitions. In which case, United will capitalise on their Portuguese players to persuade Neves.
Lingard told Old Trafford stay doesn't make sense
Former West Ham United forward Frank McAvennie has told Jesse Lingard that staying at United will be 'killing his career' after the England international had a blistering run with the Hammers on loan last season.
Speaking to Football Insider, the McAvennie said, "I really don't get that [Lingard's decision to stay]. He went to West Ham last year and set the world on fire, he was brilliant. He's barely played this season and he wants to stay? I just don't get that.
"He's killing his career. Why would you not want to go and join another club and score goals again? You can't tell me he's happy being sat on the bench. He can't be.
"I've said enough about Lingard not going to West Ham but I'm not sure I want him there if this is his attitude.
"I'm sorry, I just don't get this at all. He's not going to play ahead of Ronaldo, is he?
"It's crazy. It makes no sense to me, I don't understand what he's doing."
Opinion: You have to agree with McAvennie. Lingard has barely played since returning to Manchester United in the summer. Reportedly, United wer waiting out on a £25 million bid for Lingard, but now they seem inclined to let him go for free. Wrong decision by both Lingard and the club in summer.
