Said Benrahma has joined West Ham with the club announcing the Algerian's permanent move from Brentford on Friday morning.
The 25-year-old's move was reported by football.london on Wednesday and the club has now confirmed the attacking midfielder's loan has been converted into a permanent transfer.
Benrahma has penned a 5 1/2 year deal with the club that runs until June 2026.
The Hammers signed Benrahma in October from Championship high flyers Brentford on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy in the summer transfer window.
The club has brought forward the Algerian internationals transfer in order to free up a domestic loan spot allowing them to move for Manchester United's Jesse Lingard.
Lingard and his parent club are reported to have agreed terms with The Hammers late on Thursday night with the 28-year-old due in London Friday morning.
If the paperwork is finalised before noon Friday Lingard will be eligible for West Ham's game against Liverpool at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Lingard has played under Hammers boss David Moyes before during the manager's stint in charge at Old Trafford. The Hammers will be hoping to bring the kind of form out of the attacking-midfielder that saw him play a key role in helping England to the World Cup semi-finals in 2018.
Both Benrahma and Lingard can play in a variety of positions behind the striker and offer Moyes greater options than currently available to him.
Lingard has fallen down the pecking order at Man Utd but his record over the years speaks for itself. Benrahma has impressed in the three months since arriving at the London Stadium, with Moyes particularly pleased with his Tuesday night display against Crystal Palace.
The Algerian is yet to score for The Hammers but he has played a key role in West Ham's recent good run of form, starting the previous six games, all of which have ended in wins for his team.
