Jesse Lingard spotted teaching Cristiano Ronaldo 'JL' celebration in Manchester United training

Jesse Lingard celebrated like Cristiano Ronaldo when he scored for England recently. In the future, we might see the latter returning the favour.

Ronaldo has netted four times in four games since returning to Manchester United for a second spell ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Juventus.

In his debut against Newcastle United, the Portugal international delighted fans with a brace and carried out his trademark celebration.

As the Reds prepared for the clash with Villarreal, Ronaldo was caught taking pointers from Lingard on how to do his own celebration - a 'JL' gesture with his hands.

The pair will both hope to be involved on Wednesday, as the team faces Villarreal in a repeat of last season's Europa League final.

United lost that encounter 11-10 on penalties after the game finished 1-1 after extra time, with goalkeeper David De Gea dramatically missing in the shootout.

The Red Devils lost their first Champions League game of the season against Young Boys. Ronaldo had opened the scoring before the Swiss outfit launched a second-half coming, with the stoppage-time winner coming after an errant Lingard back pass.
