Jess Glynne has praised her partner Alex Scott while she appears on I’m A Celebrity.
The singer, 36, reshared a video from I’m A Celebrity’s social accounts, which saw broadcaster Alex, 41, speak about the importance of representation and diversity in media.
“I never just want to be given a role because ‘oh we need a type for this’, I want to always be given a job and a role because I am the best person for that role,” the former footballer said on the show.
“And I think the thing is, if we do go back with like racism and everything, it's just the fact that there was such a limited pool because no one was being given those opportunities.

“Now those opportunities are open, I still just want to be given the role because I am the best person for the job, never because I'm just ticking a box.”
The sports star started presenting after retiring from football in 2017, and in 2018, became the first female football pundit at a FIFA World Cup for the BBC.
Alex’s girlfriend shared her love for the post on her Instagram stories.
“My woman is a true trailblazer,” Jess wrote.
“So proud of everything you are. She is the flagship Lisa.”
She ended the post: “Ah I miss you so much!”
The public show of support comes after Alex told comedian Ruby Wax she’s eagerly waiting for the day Jess pops the question.
Alex said: “I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask, Rubes!”
She also revealed she met the singer at celebrity favourite Chiltern Firehouse (which shut after suffering from a major fire earlier this year).
“She approached me in Chiltern Firehouse,” Alex said.
“I was in there with my friends and she just walked up to me… [It was] really ballsy and I was like, I like your ballsiness, and then the spark was just instant and then yeah… We fell madly in love.”
It sounds like Jess was delighted to hear what Alex said, as she responded on her Instagram stories, saying she better go out and buy a ring.
Also on the show, Alex said her first sexual encounter with a woman was when she “fighting” her sexuality at 17.
“My first with a woman was when I was 17, I was fighting it,” she also told Ruby.
“I'd go back to men between because for me, it's always about the connection.
“I am attracted to men still, but literally that connection would just wear off for me. And then I'm like ‘well. I'm not enjoying the sex anymore’.”
