'Jersey Shore' star JWoww reportedly got restraining order against husband after he filmed her without consent

The harassment that led "Jersey Shore" star Jenni "JWoww" Farley to seek a restraining order against her husband was reportedly him filming her without her consent.

TMZ reports that Farley, 32, waited until husband Roger Mathews was asleep Friday, then alerted authorities to the fact that he was harassing her.

She was granted a restraining order in the middle of the night, and Mathews was taken out of the family's Toms River, N.J., home.

The reality star's estranged husband claimed he and Farley had been fighting, but denied any wrongdoing and said he was "blindsided" by the appearance of police, according to TMZ.

The couple married in 2015, and Farley filed for divorce in September. They share two children, 4-year-old Meilani and 2-year-old Greyson.

"Certain events transpired last night which lead (sic) Jenni to involve the authorities, as she felt it was in her best interests, and the best interests of her children to do so," a statement on the star's Instagram page read.

Her "Jersey Shore" cast mate and close friend Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, meanwhile, took to Instagram to defend the mom of two by sharing surveillance footage of the night in question to prove to fans that Farley's intentions were not to keep Mathews, 43, from their children.

In the video, an emotional Farley can be heard crying and telling police that Mathews should be allowed to see their kids.

"She is fighting for him to be in their lives and never once tried to take them away," Polizzi wrote. "Because you see 10 videos of him airing out their personal business regarding their divorce, it's okay to badger Jenni and send her death threats telling her she's an awful mom and human being? ... I know my sis and she is NOT the person Roger is painting her out to be. So congratulations, you gave him what he wants. Your attacks and bullying."

Mathews then responded to Polizzi's comment, and blasted her for having "many skeletons in her closet."

"I have none in mine and will own every aspect of my life," he wrote. "She should stay out of matters that do not concern her."

"Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" was recently renewed by MTV for a third season.
