Career Stats

A three-year starter at Notre Dame, Tillery lined up primarily as a three-technique, but saw some reps outside tackles as an edge rusher on occasion. Tillery had his best season in 2018, finishing with eight sacks and three tackles for loss.

On film, Tillery has the athleticism of a defensive end, the power of a nose tackle and the makings of an 8-10 year player in the NFL. He wins great movement skills and his strong upper body. Tillery uses his hands to stack, jolt and toss obstacles in his way, showing the ability to get after the quarterback, and reset the line of scrimmage with initial power get off at the point of attack.

Tillery projects best over the B-gap, and will bring a premier pass-rushing interior defensive lineman. His flashes are similar to former Notre Dame and current Steelers defensive tackle Stephon Tuitt on the field, displaying the athletic traits and upside of a first-round pick.

Current Projection: 1st Round
