Jason Alexander, Kevin James and more stars paid heartfelt tributes to Jerry Stiller on Monday after learning of the "Seinfeld" and "The King of Queens" actor's death at 92.
Alexander, who played George Costanza on "Seinfeld," tweeted that he "adored" Stiller. Stiller's character, Frank Costanza, was George's dad on the sitcom.
"Such sad news that my beloved friend, Jerry Stiller, has passed," Alexander wrote. "He was perhaps the kindest man I ever had the honor to work beside. He made me laugh when I was a child and every day I was with him. A great actor, a great man, a lovely friend. #RIPJerryStiller I Love you."
Another co-star, Jerry Seinfeld, posted a photo showing him holding a comedy album starring Stiller and his wife and longtime comedy partner, Anne Meara.
Stiller played Frank on "Seinfeld" from 1993 to 1998. He then transitioned to "The King of Queens," on which he starred as Arthur Spooner alongside James and Leah Remini from 1998 to 2007.
"One of the most kind, loving, and funny people to ever grace this earth," James captioned an Instagram photo with Stiller. "Thank you for so many incredible memories. I love you and miss you. Requiescat in pace."
Stiller's character on "The King of Queens" was the father of Remini's Carrie Heffernan and the father-in-law of James' Doug Heffernan.
"I was lucky enough to work with Jerry Stiller, playing his daughter for 9 years on The King Of Queens, but even luckier to know him, the man, the husband, the father, the grandfather," Remini captioned an Instagram tribute.
"I am only comforted knowing that Anne & Jerry, the great comedy duo of Stiller & Meara are back together," she continued. "I will be forever grateful for the memories, the fatherly talks off screen and for the many years of laughter, the kindness he had shown to me and my family ... You will be so very missed Jerry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Amy & Ben."
Stiller's death from natural causes was announced Monday by the actor's son, fellow comedian Ben Stiller. He is also survived by his daughter, Amy Stiller.
"He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to Anne for about 62 years," Ben Stiller tweeted. "He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad."
Another star who paid homage to Stiller on Monday was TV host Tom Bergeron, who recalled a charming memory with the comic.
"Pre-9/11, on a plane @ LAX after taping Hollywood Squares, departure delayed due to fog in NY," Bergeron tweeted. "Flight attendants put on King of Queens. As I'm laughing I realize I'm being watched. I turn and Jerry Stiller is staring at me. "I love watching people enjoy my work."
