Jerry Jones says Dallas Cowboys’ Michael Gallup done for season with torn ACL

Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Gallup left Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals just before halftime with a season-ending ACL tear in his left knee.

Gallup injured his left knee on a 21-yard touchdown catch late in the first half and did not return to the game at AT&T Stadium.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones informed reporters on the extent of Gallup’s injury after the game.

Gallup missed seven games earlier this season with a calf injury. He had three catches for 36 yards before the injury on Sunday.

The Cardinals (11-5) led 13-7 at the half and held on for a 25-22 win. The Cowboys (11-5), who clinched the NFC East title last week, close out the regular season against the Eagles (9-7) in Philadelphia at noon Jan. 9
