Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins has been training in Florida with free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown and former NFL receiver Terrell Owens. Denver Broncos rookie Jerry Jeudy joined them for one of their recent throwing sessions.
Var Turner, Haskins’ personal photographer, posted a video of Jeudy catching a pass from the quarterback on his Instagram story last weekend. Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic recorded the video and posted it on Twitter:
Haskins slightly underthrew Jeudy in the above video but he hit him in stride in another video posted by Turner.
Two weeks ago, the NFLPA advised against voluntary workouts because of the potential spread of COVID-19. That didn’t stop Emmanuel Sanders from running routes for New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees in Denver.
The NFLPA’s suggestion also hasn’t stopped Tom Brady from practicing with Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammates in Florida or Russell Wilson from working with Seattle Seahawks receiver DK Metcalf in Washington.
It’s unclear if Drew Lock stopped his unofficial practices with Broncos teammates. Players are scheduled to report for training camp in late July.
