Jermaine Jenas has urged Arsenal to stop playing out from the back, claiming that some players 'think they're better than they are'.
The Gunners were put under all sorts of pressure in the 2-2 draw with Watford as they looked to optimise the new ruling that allows the goalkeeper to play the ball to a defender inside the penalty area from a goal-kick.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, this allowed the Hornets to put them under huge pressure in their own area leading to some costly mistakes at Vicarage Road.
Speaking on MOTD 2, Jenas said Unai Emery's side must prepare a second plan if their initial approach doesn't work.
He said: "It's because you have more space to operate in so it should be easier to play out from the back.
"Sokratis can stand right by the goalkeeper while the opposition has to stand outside the 18-yard box.
"Arsenal's problem is that they've got players who think they're better than they are. They need a plan B.
"They didn't have enough players in the team today who should have got together and gone long for five or 10 minutes to collect the second ball. They made life easy for Watford."
