Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's recent struggles are affecting the whole of Arsenal right now.
That's the view of Jermaine Jenas, the former Tottenham midfielder-turned-pundit.
Gunners' captain Aubameyang has just four goals to his name this term and has struggled to recreate the performances he showed last season in helping Arsenal claim the FA Cup.
The 31-year-old notched a whopping 29 goals in the whole of last season and is some way of replicating that tally this time around.
His profligacy in front of goal, coupled with below-par performances mean it is a worry for Arsenal heading into Sunday's North London derby away to Spurs.
Spurs go into the game top of the Premier League, while Arsenal are already eight points behind, with five defeats from their opening 10 league fixtures.
Speaking on BBC 5Live's Friday Football Social, Jenas said: "There's no doubt that Aubameyang is not the same player right now.
"Their best player is not playing at the best of his ability. That's always going to have an impact on your team.
"We've seen it at Spurs when Harry Kane's form drops then the team's form drops.
"I think without realising it, they are so heavily reliant on [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang with regards to what he brings to the table.
"Now that the goals have dried up, who is going to step up to the plate?
"[Nicolas] Pepe's not been able to do it. [Alexandre] Lacazette is in and out of the team.
"They haven't had a goalscoring midfielder since they let Aaron Ramsey go.
"That puts even more pressure on the likes of Aubameyang. I feel teams know how to play against them.
"You know against Arsenal at some point, and even the lesser sides, if you hang in there they will almost self-destruct and you will get a chance."
Nevertheless, Jenas says that if there is any game where momentum can suddenly shift after one good result then it is an occasion like Sunday.
He added: "For Mikel Arteta to sort all that out, there's no better game to do it than this.
"It's the old cliche of game-plans going out the window, but they really do.
"If they get a result here, it could be the catalyst for them."
