Jermaine Jenas cruises in footie5 contest against Liverpool fan Sam Quek thanks to West Ham

Jermaine Jenas gets his first win in three weeks against Sam Quek in the footie5 and it was a pretty convincing win too.

He was probably feeling rather pleased with himself as he sat on the Match of the Day sofa checking his footie5 score .

The ex-Tottenham player will have to give credit to West Ham United - in particular Aaron Cresswell - for correctly predicting a score draw against Bournemouth and the result at Goodison Park.

It looked like Sam would get the three points for correctly predicting a 2-1 win for Eddie Howe's side but the in-form full-back found the net for a second time to deny.

The midfielder's form continued when City took all three points at Everton in the Saturday evening match. The 3-1 win gave Jermaine three points for correct score while Sam's 2-0 City prediction meant she goes away with one point.

Both Sam and JJ predicted a closer affair in Glasgow when Rangers took on Aberdeen - think any Dons fan would have taken a 2-1 loss now.

In fact, only one footie5 player predicted a 5-0 thrashing at Ibrox. Bravo to that footie5 player !

Sam missed out by a goal to get two additional points as ex-Liverpool striker Danny Ings bagged a goal for the Saints. Jermaine, meanwhile, had too much faith in Hugo Lloris' ball control...

Both got a point apiece as Burnley drew with Aston Villa away, although I'm sure they both would have preferred the full
