Jermaine Jenas has heaped praise on "sensational" Chelsea after their victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final.
Hakim Ziyech scored the only goal of the game at Wembley as the Blues sealed their place in the final next month, where they will face Leicester City or Southampton.
Chelsea went into the game as underdogs against a Manchester City side chasing a quadruple, with Pep Guardiola's men on course to win the Premier League title, in the Carabao Cup final and in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
But Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea ended their hopes of winning all four trophies this season, with Ziyech's goal proving the difference at Wembley.
And former Tottenham midfielder Jenas believes it was a deserved win for the Blues against a City side he said never really got started.
“No they [Manchester City] didn’t. You have to say the changes cost them in the first half," he said, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live.
“They never got going in the first half. In the second half, I thought they started very well, but all in all, Chelsea were the better side.
“They managed the game defensively brilliant, tactically I thought Tuchel got it spot on. They caught them on the counter attack a couple of times and it is that that has essentially got them to the cup final.
“Not good enough from Manchester City, but absolutely brilliant from Thomas Tuchel and his Chelsea players.
"Congratulations to Chelsea, they were sensational."
Fellow pundit Lee Dixon was also full of praise for the Blues, adding that they stopped Manchester City's best players from playing well.
"Look at [Kevin] De Bruyne," he said.
"I know he went off injured, but credit to Chelsea, the way they stopped him playing when he was on the pitch, he didn't really have a kick.
"So well done to Chelsea, I thought they were - to a man - better than City and really deserved to go through to the final."
