Former striker Jermaine Beckford has revealed what it's like to chase promotion at Leeds United.
Marcelo Bielsa's men are on the verge of returning to the top flight after 16 years away.
But as the current stars battle with pressure to get over the line, former frontman Beckford has opened up on what it's like to be in that position having won promotion from League One with Leeds as well as Preston.
“You’ve got to be mentally strong," he told Sky Sports. "You definitely do.
"You know what it means to the city, to yourself, and everybody that’s watching. There’s a lot of people that always want Leeds to fail. But inside Yorkshire, inside Leeds, the support you get is phenomenal.
"All the players will be thinking about what it means to those fans, but they won’t be getting carried away. Marcelo Bielsa will not let that happen.
"With that in mind, they will be very confident and very professional in their approach play today and do the simple things well, do exactly what Leeds United do and leave the rest to fate.”
Leeds need just one point to guarantee promotion following their win over Barnsley and may even be up before they take to the pitch again, as any slip-up from West Brom against Huddersfield on Friday night or when Brentford visit Stoke on Satruday, would seen Leeds return to the Premier League.
