Jermain Defoe has revealed that he wants to stay at Rangers forever, after his strike against Aberdeen capped off their Invincible league season.
The 38-year-old hasn't featured much this season but has appeared regularly from the bench and his experience has been a key part of their success.
He netted his seventh goal of the season in the late stages of their 4-0 win over Aberdeen that saw them shatter the 100-point barrier on the final day.
And Defoe can't believe his luck at being involved with an "unbelievable" club.
He told Sky Sports: "We're now in a position where we can say we're number one and we're the best again.
"It's unbelievable, I'm so happy for everyone involved. Especially the fans, because they're the best fans in the world. It's an unbelievable football club."
Defoe is out of contract next month, but he has no plans to walk out on Steven Gerrard and his team any time soon.
When asked if he has another season in the tank, Defoe said: "I want to stay here forever. I love it here. Everyone knows it's special.
"When I spoke to the manager when I was coming here, the first thing he said is 'you will love it here.'
"I've loved every minute, it's been fantastic. I'm lost for words, it's amazing."
