Jeremy McConnell 'shares newborn daughter's name' and admits he's already 'bought her a pony'

Jeremy McConnell has revealed that he's named his newborn baby daughter Storm, it's claimed.

The model turned reality TV star, 29, welcomed his bundle of joy with his girlfriend Katie McCreath last month.

It's said that the name has a special meaning for the couple as Jeremy has weathered storms in his career and hopes his daughter will be a fresh start.

A source told The Sun Online: "Jeremy picked the name and it really means a lot to him.

"Storms bring a fresh start, so it’s really positive for them both.

"The name is a constant reminder of the happy family man he now is."

He's now revealed to friends that he's even bought the little one her first pony and had it delivered to their home, it's claimed.

Mirror Online has contacted Jeremy's reps for comment.

Jeremy - who is also father to son Caben-Albi, two, from his former relationship with soap actress Stephanie Davis - announced the baby's birth on Instagram.

He wrote: "My Angel is here. She arrived 29 November, 00:06, 7.10 lbs.

"Mum and baby are perfect. We are enjoying precious family time at the moment, but I just wanted to say thank you all for your beautiful messages."

Jeremy's confirmation of their baby's arrival comes as the former Celebrity Big Brother star appears doing everything he can to become a doting dad.

He appeared to embrace newborn culture and addressed the new stage of his life with a series of hashtags such as '#motherhood, #pregnancy, #childbirth and #mom'.

The TV star already has son, Caben-Albi, but it is believed he hasn't seen the toddler in a long time.

Jeremy recently hit back at claims he was "neglecting" the youngster.

He told MailOnline : "Anyone that has half a brain cell needs to understand the reason I am not part of Caben's life is because not every situation can be fixed."

He added: "I protect my son as much as I can. It's not neglecting, it's protecting. I'm a very loving father. This is better for Caben."
