Jeremy Lin’s long, incredible basketball journey comes full circle back with the Warriors’ franchise

Exciting news, NBA fans: Jeremy Lin is reportedly back in the league.

Per The Undefeated, the free agent guard will sign with the Golden State Warriors’ G League team this season. And there’s some neat symmetry to that: Lin was an undrafted free agent in 2010 who signed out of Harvard with … the Warriors!

From there, in case you need a reminder: he went from the Dubs to the Rockets to the Knicks, where LINSANITY happened (!!!!!!!!). Then he signed with the Rockets (again) as a free agent, was traded to the Lakers in 2014, signed with the Hornets, then signed with the Nets in 2016, was traded to the Hawks in 2018 and waived by them in 2019 before joining the Raptors for the rest of the season, when he won a ring!

He’d become a free agent and eventually joined the CBA’s Beijing Ducks. And now, he’s returning to the NBA, with the franchise he started with. Even though it’s with the Warriors’ G League team, this is great news.
