Jeremy Lamb provides the remarkable March buzzer-beater we’ve been waiting for

Up until Duke’s thrilling win over UCF, this NCAA tournament had been a dud. And really, that one game wasn’t enough to stop the tournament from being a dud.

There were no major upsets in Round 1, no buzzer-beaters, Fletcher Magee missed a million shots against Kentucky. So leave it to the professionals to give basketball fans some real March Madness.

National champion Jeremy Lamb knows how it’s done.

During Sunday’s Hornets-Raptors game in Toronto, Lamb was forced to throw up a prayer from beyond midcourt. And, well, you can probably guess how that went.

Lamb’s high-arching shot banked in off the backboard, leaving the fans in Toronto absolutely stunned. That shot was simply ridiculous. It gave the Hornets a 115-114 win.

The Raptors took that loss well.

Can we find room for that shot in One Shining Moment? Please? It deserves a spot.
