Jeremy Kyle's secret sadness before his show was CANCELLED by ITV

Jeremy Kyle isn't handling the chaos surrounding his show as well as he's trying to let on, an expert has claimed.

The Jeremy Kyle Show has been axed for good following the death of a guest.

It was dramatically pulled from the schedule on Monday after Steve Dymond overdosed days after appearing on the show.

He had been left devastated after failing a lie detector test after trying to prove he hadn't been unfaithful to his fiancée June Callaghan.

Jeremy was seen arriving home last night as he broke cover for the first time since the drama began.

Author and body language expert Judi James says his outward appearance didn't necessarily reflect how he was feeling on the inside.

Here's what she told Mirror Online...

Dressing like a rebellious teenager in baseball cap, hoodie, cut-off shorts and trainers might suggest Kyle’s default position right now is to go into fight-back mode, but the look is totally at odds with his body language here, which suggests something more like weariness and regret.

His strutting alpha avenger TV posture seems to have collapsed like a dodgy soufflé here. His shoulders are hunched and he appears to hold and lean onto the car door handle as he climbs out.

His head is dipped and his eyes lowered in what looks like a cut-off, ‘avoid’ pose. There are no signs of defiance or even resolve in these photos, but it’s his sucked-in lips that form what could be the strongest non-verbal clue. This gesture signals a lack of desire to talk, plus it is often seen as a gesture of regret and sadness.

Today, ITV announced the show has been permanently cancelled.

Carolyn McCall, ITV’s CEO, said: "Given the gravity of recent events we have decided to end production of The Jeremy Kyle Show.

"The Jeremy Kyle Show has had a loyal audience and has been made by a dedicated production team for 14 years, but now is the right time for the show to end.
