Jeremy Kyle fans worry for Big Steve - but he secretly works on another ITV show

Jeremy Kyle fans are worried for Big Steve after the show was permanently axe.

The Jeremy Kyle Show has been cancelled after 14 years on the air following the death of guest Steve Dymond, who failed a lie detector test.

On Wednesday, ITV confirmed they have ended production and broadcasting of daytime show with immediate effect after conducting a review.

This appears to have left security guard Steve, who regularly appears on screen, without a job.

Viewers are demanding that bosses find the much-loved security bouncer another role - but he already secretly works for another ITV show.

Big Steve also works as a security guard for Judge Rinder at the same ITV studios - but is never seen on-screen.

But he used to feature prominently on The Jeremy Kyle Show when things got out of control on stage.

Big Steve would separate fighting guests, wrestle them out of the studio and comfort emotional participants.

Jeremy Kyle would also regularly put the security guard in awkward situations by asking him hilarious questions, such as would he have sex on a trampoline.

Another added: "I take it Security Steve from #JeremyKyle will go back to doing the door at clubs in Leeds?"

A third said: "Just how long is going to be before @itvjeremykyle's Security Steve gets his own show? The man is a man mountain legend!"

Jeremy has been left 'heartbroken' by the death of Steve Dymond as he gave his condolences to his friends and family.

In a statement released by Jeremy on Wednesday night, he said: “Myself and the production team I have worked with for the last 14 years are all utterly devastated by the recent events. Our thoughts and sympathies are with Steve’s family and friends at this incredibly sad time.”

The show will be temporarily replaced by David Dickinson's Real Deal - a move that has subsequently infuriated loyal fans of the show.

MPs launched a probe into reality TV in the wake of this tragedy and two Love Island deaths.
